Hazel English drops ‘Nine Stories’ single, produced by Day Wave

Hazel English – ‘Nine Stories’ (YouTube)

Hazel English released a new single, ‘Nine Stories‘, carrying her sound further. The single is full of indie pop hooks, her vocals have a nice saturated sound, with light synths filling the sound, and dreamy beach guitar tones setting the mood. We shouldn’t be surprised to find that it was produced by Day Wave.

Anywhere you are I wanna be with you
Take me somewhere far
Where we don’t know anyone
Dancing slowly hold me in your arms

King Hannah: New single and video ‘All Being Fine’

King Hannah – ‘All Being Fine’ (YouTube)

King Hannah released a new music video and single, ‘All Being Fine‘, from their forthcoming album, ‘I’m Not Sorry, I Was Just Being Me‘. The album is set for a February 2022 release. This is the second single, with ‘A Well-Made Woman‘ opening the album.

The single is a blend of shoegaze and americana, with fuzzed out and dreamy guitars, and light acoustic guitar strumming that is subtle yet critical to the song. The song feels like a natural progression from the ‘Tell Me Your Mind And I’ll Tell You Mine‘ EP, while the production is cleaner and warmer. We cannot wait to hear more from this Liverpool band.

Bedroom pop artist fanclubwallet dropped ‘That I Won’t Do’, a single with tape saturated guitar tones, chorus laced vocals, and a programmed synth pattern that helps shape the rhythm until laidback drums kick in.

Valley Palace released a new guitar pop single, Patch, his third single of 2021. Nathan Taylor has been releasing music as Valley Palace since December, 2019 that he records in his bedroom. TESSEL releases debut ‘Family Time’ EP

TESSEL – ‘Family Time’ EP (Spotify)

Danish band TESSEL released their debut EP, ‘Family Time‘, today. They completed the EP right as the Pandemic lockdown began. So they took the time to release singles, music videos, perform live streams, and slowly build their following. Now that shows have begun resuming, TESSEL released their six track ‘Family Time‘ EP through [PIAS] Recordings. These songs have all the hooks.

They shared on Instagram: “We’re beyond happy because of our release! After the recordings ended, the first lockdown kicked in, no clue what to do or how long to wait starting releasing our new songs. And here we are, almost 1.5 year later than expected, but still fresh and brand new.. our first ever EP called ‘Family Time’ is out today!”
