Stray Fossa‘s new single and music video ‘Transpiring‘ is out, and it’s one you should check out. The first single from their forthcoming album ‘Closer Than We’ll Ever Know‘, out on June 3 through Born Losers Records. This is thrilling news, as their 2021 ‘With You Forever‘ release was a favorite of ours.

Goth Babe drops ‘Running Around’

Griff Washburn of Goth Babe self-released an infectious single called ‘Running Around‘, coupled with a music video. Everything about this single is ear candy. Griff describes the video, “For my 25th birthday, some friends and I decided to visit the islands off California’s coast in my 30ft monohull. We brought a camera and some GoPros along.“

Griff writes and produces everything wherever he parks his truck, creating in Ableton. The lyrics of ‘Running Around‘ repeat, “Feeling only but a dream. Feeling only but the ways that you made me. Only seeking better times. Only planning till her heart shines. Fears start running around. Head wants another way but heart wants it all to stay.”

New Simen Mitlid single, ‘DNA’

Norwegian artist Simen Mitlid has a new single out, called ‘DNA‘. He co-wrote the song with producer Mikhael Paskalev, and recorded it with producer, artist, and friend Hans Olav Settem of Benedikt.

Vocally, Simen approaches the song with ‘autotune’ vocals that are upfront, which slip back in reverb with lush vocal harmonies. ‘DNA‘ is a beautiful song, his first single since releasing ‘Birds; or, Stories from Charlie B’s Travels From Grønland to the Sun, and Back Again‘ in 2020.
