Bradley Thomas Turner of Ösla has released The Sounds of Bradley Thomas Turner (Major Motion Picture Original Sountrack). This fun 16-track baroque pop soundtrack was written for an imagined film noir that doesn’t exist. The soundtrack tells a love story reflected in the song titles, from meeting at a Karaoke Bar to Post Date, and ending with two parts of Everything Falls Apart.
Bradley is part of the minimalistic bedroom pop band Ösla, co-producing with Henry Armbrecht, contributing, and mixing. Where Bradley’s work with Ösla has a very open sound and elevates the utilization of space, The Sounds of Bradley Thomas Turner is more complex in layers and instrumentation, exploring sounds and texture. All of the diverse instruments are performed by Bradley, which is quite impressive.
Composer for film scores, Bradley Thomas Turner discussed the soundtrack during an interview with Ösla for the Puddlegum Podcast, which will be released in Episode Four. He shared with Kevin Flick of Puddlegum that creating this mock soundtrack provided him an opportunity to write a score where he set his own limitations.
