Puddlegum Studio is becoming a reality

by | Dec 21, 2021 | News, Puddlegum.Studio

I have been mixing a number of projects, but a dream of mine for a long time has been to own my own recording studio. As soon as the first week of January, Puddlegum Studio will become a reality. We’re currently building it out.

Puddlegum Studio is located at 213 South Rogers Street, Suite 8 in Bloomington, Indiana (zip code is 47404). It’s a boutique hybrid studio, perfect for bedroom pop and dream pop artists. The location is amazing: literally down the hall from Secretly Group (Secretly Canadian, Jagjaguwar, Dead Oceans)… same building.

By hybrid, I mean that it’s a blend of outboard gear and plugins (I have hundreds). I have been purchasing gear for the studio for a number of years as I have produced and engineered albums. You’ll find Neve, SSL, UAD, and PreSonus preamps, Roland synths, and mics from Sennheiser, Beyerdynamic, AKG, etc.

I’m looking for artists to work with in the late Winter months of January through March, as I continue to tweak the set up. I’ll give you a great rate. You can track everything, bring songs you’ve already begun, or send me finished tracks to mix or master. Puddlegum Studio is set up with the bedroom artist in mind. Email me at flick@puddlegum.studio if you’re interested.

Side note: I have plans for growing Puddlegum.Blog. I am looking for writers to join the Puddlegum team. I’m especially interested in artists who create music, but I’m entirely open. If you’d love to write for Puddlegum, or maybe you’re looking for an internship, reach out: flick@puddlegum.blog.

Thank you for visiting Puddlegum! Our passion is to support independent artists, bands, and record labels. We help artists create (mixing + mastering) at Puddlegum.Studio. Please, reach out if you would like to work with us. Follow and interact with us on the socials!
