There’s a new dad sports music video for their fifth single, MANY FACES. This is a fun home video, filmed with camcorders, and intentionally lo-fi. MANY FACES is off their forthcoming EP titled I AM JUST A BOY LEAVE ME ALONE !!!, and this song continues with the college kid motif.
In this video, the band is running around Ottawa suburbs, goofing off, mixed with footage from the past year. The video corresponds with their previous video, nrvs again, which was professionally produced by Noah Keckler, an up-and-coming teenage director. Both videos are about twenty year olds letting off steam.
MANY FACES is a high energy guitar-driven band bop, as compared to nrvs again, which was mostly synth and beats from a drum machine. This is the fifth single for the EP (which has six tracks), that they’re releasing with Grand Jury Music on March 19. This EP will be a mix of singles they’ve released over the past year, and new material. The EP will start with a cumulative 2.5 million Spotify streams. Their debut full-length is in the works!
Who is dad sports?
dad sports is a three-piece bedroom pop band from Ottawa, Canada. Spotify added them to their 2021 Radar Artist to Watch list. While these guys don’t take themselves very seriously, they’re very smart about their music and how they market themselves, and they clearly are serious about their music.
